HRC Output Rebounded Slightly After Maintenance Ended

SHANGHAI, Mar 28 (SMM) - In terms of rebar, the capacity utilisation rate of steel mills increased slightly last week, but the overall rebar output fluctuated within a narrow range. Looking at the follow-up stage, the profits of steel mills are unlikely to expand and thus steel mills will not increase production. As such, the rebar output may remain stable. In terms of HCR, with the end of maintenance of some steel mills in north-east and north China as well as the finished equipment maintenance of some steel mills in south China, the weekly HRC output increased on the week. In the follow-up stage, the HRC output will increase slightly as steel mills produce normally.
