SMM Statistics on Port Shipments of Steel Products under Domestic Trade during March 18-March 24

SHANGHAI, Mar 27 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that China’s steel product port shipments under domestic trade totalled 5.88 million mt in the week of March 18-24, up 10% week-on-week.

Steel product arrivals across Chinese ports under domestic trade were5.35 million mt last week, up11% on a weekly basis.

Exports of steel and related products

Port shipments outside China were 1.81 million mt last week, up16% from a week ago. Shipments by Chinese ports for exports were 1.16 million mt, a decrease of 36% on a weekly basis.
