Booming PV Aluminium Extrusion Sector Attracts New Players, Causing Competition to Escalate

SHANGHAI, Mar 27 (SMM) – Abundant orders allowed top-tier PV extruders to return to full production shortly after the Chinese New Year (CNY). Meanwhile, financially strong construction extruders have also set foot into the booming PV extrusion business, which intensified market competition and sent the conversion margins lower. The conversion margins kept falling last year, and temporarily stabilised in the first quarter of this year.
