Self-inspection and Self-reform of National Open-Pit Mine Rectification Work Starts

SHANGHAI, Mar 10 (SMM) - It is learned from the State Bureau of Mine Safety Supervision that according to the Notice on Carrying out Special Rectification of Safety Production in Open-pit Mine issued recently, the State Bureau of Mine Safety Supervision will carry out special rectification on safety production for all open-pit mines that are in normal production. In order to learn from the previous open-pit mine accident in Alxa League, Inner Mongolia, the rectification work will start in March 2023 and end before the end of the year. Self-examination and self-reform will be carried out by enterprises before the end of March, and "physical examination" for key mine safety will last until the end of August, supervision and inspection will be undertaken before the end of October, and before the end of December is the stage of summary evaluation. The summary report of the rectification work will be submitted to the State Bureau of Mine Safety Supervision before the end of January 2024.
