In-Plant Inventory of Finished Products Across Secondary Lead Smelters Declined Approaching End of Month

SHANGHAI, Feb 27 (SMM) - According to SMM survey, the in-plant inventory of finished products across secondary lead smelters totalled about 17,800 mt, down 4,400 mt from a week ago. Approaching the end of the month, most secondary refined lead smelters were busy completing the long-term order delivery, resulting in a slight decrease in finished product inventory. The inventory of most enterprises was extremely low. Smelters’ raw material inventory stood at 197,800 mt, up 7,500 mt from a week ago. According to feedback from smelters in Anhui, the supply of battery scrap was relatively sufficient and it may take 3 days to complete the unloading of cargo.
