Output of Lithium Carbonate is Expected to be 31,128 mt in June

SHANGHAI, Jun 9(SMM) -

China’s lithium carbonate output was 29,244 mt in May, a month-on-month increase of 10% and a year-on-year increase of 33%.

Although a small number of manufacturers reduced production due to maintenance and inadequate raw materials, new production capacity picked up at some manufacturers, while the production of the salt lake returned to peak. The overall supply increased amid the resumption of production caused by previous maintenance and pandemic prevention and control.

In June, the new production capacity gradually picked up, and the production of salt lake manufacturers has reached its peak this month with total output of the industry increasing MoM.

Output of lithium carbonate is expected to be 31,128 mt in June, a month-on-month increase of 6% and year-on-year increase of 37%.
