O marco ocorreu apenas cerca de três meses após as partes assinarem um acordo de mineração em maio, cerca de quatro meses antes do cronograma original de desenvolvimento de sete meses. Farellon é uma parte importante da propriedade de cobre-ouro-cobalto Carrizal. Espera-se que a primeira entrega de minério gere receita de royalties para a Red Metal e estabeleça as bases para uma maior expansão das atividades de mineração e processamento.
