According to news released by Jiexiujing Development Zone in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, Shanxi Huashun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Huashun New Energy") has an annual output of 60,000 tons of power lithium battery anode material project completed and put into production.
Data show that Huashun New Energy is supported by Anshan Thermal Energy Research Institute of Sinosteel Group and built by Jiexiu Zhiyao carbon Co., Ltd. and Shandong Minfeng Foundry Materials Co., Ltd. The annual output of 60,000 tons of power lithium battery anode material project has a total investment of 800 million yuan, covering an area of 127mu, building granulation and coating system, low temperature carbonization facilities, graphitization purification unit, new partition power transmission system and corresponding environmental protection system, the project started construction in December 2020, and the investment of 430 million yuan has been completed, and the first phase of the project graphite purification system has been completed and trial production.
It is worth noting that the project with an annual output of 60,000 tons of power lithium battery anode materials is only the first phase of the Huashun new energy power lithium battery anode material and lithium battery project. According to the previous planning, the second phase of the project will build an annual 6GWh high specific energy power lithium battery project with a total investment of 2.7 billion yuan.
