The regulation capacity of water storage and sun spreading is about to fail, so there is an urgent need to take measures to clean up the magnesium chloride in the pond to restore the water storage capacity and play the role of salt fields.

At the end of 2020, the freshwater magnesium dissolution system of Lanke lithium industry was completed. Beside the Golmuxi River at the 28km of Lanke, the abandoned raw brine channel with a length of nearly 10,000 meters is transformed into a fresh water canal, and with the help of the equipment and facilities of Potash Fertilizer Branch, the fresh water is transported through a 200m pipeline to the freshwater channel, and then the pumping station is used to transfer the fresh water into two salt fields, so as to achieve the purpose of dissolving magnesium.
