
SMM Sept. 17: today, Oriental Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. announced that it signed a subscription agreement with Yahua International Investment and Development Co., Ltd. to carry out a strategic placement of US $1.05 million to Yahua, which was readily agreed by Yazhwa. This means that Yahua will join the ranks of shareholders of Oriental Iron and Steel.
In addition, Dongfang Iron and Steel is pleased to announce that it has received a commitment from mature professional investors to invest a further US $2.52 million, raising a total of about US $3.57 million ("placing"), excluding costs.

It is reported that Dongfang Iron and Steel will issue shares and options to Ya Hua after receiving the subscription amount. As a result, Yahua will become a major shareholder of the company, holding 5.05% of the company's issued capital.
