Henan Shenma Group Xinxiang Lithium Power Phase II 2GWh High specific Energy Lithium Ion Battery Project launched

SMM, Sept. 29: recently, the Henan Provincial people's Government portal announced that China Pingmei Shenma Group Xinxiang Lithium Power Phase II 2GWh High specific Energy Lithium Ion Battery Project will be held in Fengquan District. Zhu Ming, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Su Guobao, chief economist of the Provincial Department of Commerce, Li Mao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the China Pingmei Shenma Group, du Bo, General Manager, Zhang Guowei, Secretary of the Municipal CPC Committee, and Mayor Wang Dengxi attended the meeting and jointly launched the second phase of the Pingmei Lithium Power Project, which marks a new step forward in the cooperation between Pingmei Shenma Group and Xinxiang City and will effectively promote the development of the battery industry in Xinxiang City.

It is understood that the second phase of Xinxiang Lithium Power Project of Ping Coal Shenma Group has a planned land use of more than 170 mu, a planned investment of about 1 billion yuan, a planned production capacity of 2GWhH, and a planned construction cycle of 18 months. The second phase of the project mainly adopts the second generation lithium battery technology of Henan Battery Research Institute, which can produce rare earth ternary soft lithium battery with various capacities according to the market demand. The products can be widely used in new energy vehicles, energy storage and other fields. After the completion of the second phase of the project, Pingmei Shenma Group in Xinxiang lithium battery capacity will reach 3GWhH, product technology content, market share, economic benefits will be further improved.
