Hunan Province found 88 mineral deposits over the past six years, and formed 15 medium-to-large mineral resources bases, according to the Ministry of Land & Resources.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 17 (SMM) - Hunan Province found 88 mineral deposits over the past six years, and formed 15 medium-to-large mineral resources bases, according to the Ministry of Land & Resources.

Imported Zinc Influx in Shanghai to Decrease in July, SMM Says

Major reserves discovered include 1.37 billion mt of coal, 180 million mt of iron, 74.5 million mt of manganese, 11.9 million mt of vanadium, 880,000 mt of tungsten, 400,000 mt of tin, 110,000 mt of molybdenum, 280,000 mt of copper, 12.22 million mt of lead and zinc, 200,000 mt of antimony, 210 mt of gold, 1.1 billion mt of gypsum, 2.2 billion mt of salt rock, and 780 million mt of glauberite.
