SHANGHAI, Sep. 27 (SMM) - One galvanizer in Urumqi, Xinjiang was forced to close and dismantle by environmental protection department due to illegal production, and severe pollution, according to iyaxin.com sources.
The galvanizing plant - Zhongtaiyuan Galvanizing Plant, which was required to shut down by local environmental protection office, has dismantled its equipment.
The plant had been reported by local citizens for years, and had no pollution treatment devices.
