SHANGHAI, Jul. 21 (SMM) - The State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan said domestic refined copper, zinc and crude steel output rose 7.5%, 1.4% and 5.6%, respectively, year-on-year during January-June this year, according to wenhua.com.
The London-listed KAZ Minerals and Glencore’s Kazzinc contribute the majority of the country’s metal output. The only steel plant in Kazakhstan is owed by ArcelorMittal.
