[Minor metal] Offers for Domestic Cobalt Products Advance
SHANGHAI, Oct. 21 (SMM) -- Offers for domestic cobalt products climbed. Offers for refined cobalt were RMB 330,000-360,000/mt; offers for cobalt chloride were RMB 70,000-72,000/mt; cobalt sulfate was quoted at RMB 60,000-62,000/mt; cobalt oxide (II, III) was quoted at RMB 225,000-230,000/mt; lithium cobalt oxide was quoted at RMB 240,000-245,000/mt.
SMM believes cobalt price hike was attributed to rising MB prices. Li-ion battery and other downstream demand increased slightly, and the increasing purchases also helped drive up prices for cobalt products.
