






SHANGHAI, Oct. 9 (SMM) -- North China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 45,100-45,300/mt, market supply was general, but the purchasing interest was low. The weak demand for copper rod exerted negative impact on the demand for bright scrap copper, resulting in lackluster trading activity.
East China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 45,500-45,800/mt, market supply was a little tight, and traders raised offers markedly, while downstream consumers were cautious, resulting in weak trading sentiment.
South China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 46,000-46,200/mt, the purchasing sentiment increased slightly, but traders were firm with offers. Transactions were moderate.
