SHANGHAI, Aug. 5 (SMM) -- Domestic prices of selenium dioxide increased further to RMB 360-370/kg today from yesterday levels of RMB 350-360/kg.
SMM believes selenium dioxide prices still have upward room for two reasons. On the one hand, MB prices for selenium powder continued to move up, and suppliers were reluctant to sell goods, so domestic prices for selenium dioxide raw materials advanced as well. On the other hand, domestic large selenium dioxide producers were unwillingness to move cargos, resulting in tightness of domestic supply. Selenium dioxide prices are expected to rise to RMB 400/kg for the foreseeable future.
