SHANGHAI, July 17 -- According to the latest Reuters' survey of base metals, aluminum inventories increased sharply to a record high, which forced analysts to reduce their forecast of aluminum price in 2010, down 13% compared to average estimated data in January.
However, over 60 analysts were optimistic towards copper price trend, and raised their forecast of copper price, up 25% for 2009 and up nearly 20% for 2010 compared to estimated data in January.
