[Cu] Summary - 2009/4/10 Scrap Copper Market
SHANGHAI, Apr. 10 (CBI China) -- North China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 38,500-38,800/mt, the scrap copper price rose significantly again, and the downstream demand was moderate. But the tight supply restricted the transactions.
East China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 37,800-38,100/mt, the scrap copper supply was tight, and the price was lower than other regions, and the downstream producers were cautious about the high price, leading to general transactions.
South China today 1# bright copper traded at RMB 39,600-39,800/mt, scrap copper price soared due to the speculative activities, and the transactions were active.
