JAKARTA, Aug. 23 -- Indonesian state miner PT Timah Tbk (TINS.JK: Quote), the world's largest integrated tin miner, expects refined tin output this year of 45-50,000 tonnes, as heavy rains risk lower output from a previous forecast for 50,000 tonnes.

Unseasonally prolonged rains in Indonesia because of the La Nina weather anomaly have tightened tin ore supply.

"It will affect our offshore production. But we expect to boost output in the second half," said Abrun Abubakar, corporate secretary at Timah.
