BHUBANESWAR, India, July 30 -- India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) (NALU.BO) sold 7,500 tonnes of aluminium ingots at a premium of $92.50 a tonne over the average LME cash price on a cost, insurance and freight basis, a company source said on Wednesday.

NALCO will supply the metal to South Korea's STX Corporation in five batches of 1,500 tonnes each from October to February 2011, said the official who has direct knowledge of the deal but could not be named due to company policy.

NALCO, the tenders of which serve as an international benchmark, last sold aluminium ingots earlier this month to the same firm at the same price.
