National Aluminium Hikes Product Prices By INR3,000/Ton

MUMBAI, July 2 -- India's National Aluminium Co. (532234.BY) has increased its aluminum product prices by INR3,000 per metric ton, or 3%, a senior company executive said Friday.

The price hike is effective from July 1, said the executive, who didn't wish to be named. He didn't give any reason for the increase.

At 0510 GMT, the three-month London Metal Exchange aluminum price was at $1,950/ton, up 0.5% from Thursday.
