CHALCO Further Expands Copper Plate, Sheet and Strip Capacity

SHANGHAI, Feb. 8 (SMM) -- CHALCO Central China Copper Company's 1st phase of high-precision copper plate, sheet and strip project has started production.  Total investment for this high-precision copper plate, sheet and strip project is RMB 2.1 billion, and completed investment for 1st phase of the project (capacity: 60kt/yr, and 2nd phase of the project is 100kt/yr) is nearly RMB 1.5 billion. 

In addition, CHALCO Luoyang Copper Company's 100kt/yr high-precision copper plate, sheet and strip project with total investment of 2.217 billion has generally completed construction, a sign of rapid expansion of copper plate, sheet and strip capacity in CHALCO.
