SYDNEY, Jan. 29 -- Kagara Ltd. (KZL.AU) said Friday it produced 11,081 metric tons of zinc and a total of 4,689 tons of copper during the second quarter.
The Perth-based miner said the company returned to profitability, with margins increasing "dramatically" from copper and zinc production during the quarter ended Dec. 31.
Margins are expected to improve further during the current quarter, and production for the full year remains "essentially on target," Kagara said in a statement.
An initial public offering to spin off its Mungana Goldmines was "close to launch."
