NALCO Sells 6,000 mt of Aluminum Ingot

SHANGHAI, Jan. 20 -- India's National Aluminum Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 6,000 mt of aluminum ingot at a premium of USD 82/mt over the LME cash price on a CIF basis to Glencore, a Swiss trader, a company source said on Tuesday.

The same source said the metal would be supplied to the buyer in six batches from February to July.

NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark for pries, last sold 2,500 mt of aluminum ingot to an European trading company Trafigura at a premium of USD 78.25/mt over the LME cash price on a CIF basis.
