SHANGHAI, Sep. 11 (SMM) --
Refined Copper:
According to NBS, China's output of refined copper was 364.9kt during August, up 15.4% YoY, and up 8.7% MoM. The YTD output was 2.65 million mt, up 5.4% YoY.  Scrap copper's  price advantage in China has been growing since mid-July, helping increasing domestic output of secondary copper. In addition, higher copper prices are pushing up operating rates at copper smelters.  In this context, domestic output of refined copper should remain high during September.
