SMM, November 6: Mainstream transactions of #0 zinc in Guangdong were at 25,330-25,500 yuan/mt, with mainstream brands quoted at premiums of 20-50 yuan/mt against the 2612 contract and premiums of 20-50 yuan/mt against Shanghai spot. Today, suppliers quoted premiums of 20-50 yuan/mt for Qilin, Mengzi, Danxia, and Anning brands. The purchase sentiment for refined zinc in Guangdong was 2.05, and the sales sentiment was 2.55. Recently, inflows into Guangdong warehouses have been low, and spot supply of some brands has been relatively tight today. Coupled with lower zinc prices, traders held their quotes firm, but downstream buyers still held some bearish expectations for prices. Actual market transactions were mostly small-volume restocking purchases by end-users, with spot premiums holding steady.

Eldorado Gold Q3 Results: 2026 Full-Year Mine Production Guidance for Lead and Zinc Revised Downward
Canadian mining company Eldorado Gold (NYSE: EGO / TSX: ELD) has released its third-quarter 2026 financial and operational results. Its Olympias polymetallic mine in Greece, which produces gold, silver, lead and zinc, is expected to face restrictions on processing throughput in the fourth quarter due to the ongoing 650,000-tonne-per-year expansion project. The expansion is expected to reach full production in the first half of 2027. As a result, the company lowered its 2026 full-year lead production guidance from the previous range of 15,000–18,000 tonnes to 11,000–14,000 tonnes, representing a decrease of approximately 24.2% in the midpoint. Meanwhile, zinc production guidance was revised from 16,000–19,000 tonnes to 14,000–20,000 tonnes, representing a slight decrease of approximately 2.9% in the midpoint.
