SMM, November 6:

The transaction price of mainstream brand 0# zinc in the Ningbo market was around 25,400-25,550 yuan/mt. Conventional brands in Ningbo were quoted at a premium of 70 yuan/mt against the 2612 contract and a premium of 45 yuan/mt against Shanghai spot cargo. Mainstream quotes in the Ningbo area were primarily against the 2612 contract. In the first session, Anning was quoted at a premium of 70 yuan/mt against the 2612 contract; in the second session, trader quotes remained unchanged from the previous session. Recently, arrivals in the Ningbo market have been limited, and few traders were selling spot cargo, so spot quotes continued to be raised. Coupled with a pullback in zinc futures prices, some downstream buyers took the opportunity to lock in prices at lower levels, but overall transactions were limited due to tight supply.

Eldorado Gold Q3 Results: 2026 Full-Year Mine Production Guidance for Lead and Zinc Revised Downward
Canadian mining company Eldorado Gold (NYSE: EGO / TSX: ELD) has released its third-quarter 2026 financial and operational results. Its Olympias polymetallic mine in Greece, which produces gold, silver, lead and zinc, is expected to face restrictions on processing throughput in the fourth quarter due to the ongoing 650,000-tonne-per-year expansion project. The expansion is expected to reach full production in the first half of 2027. As a result, the company lowered its 2026 full-year lead production guidance from the previous range of 15,000–18,000 tonnes to 11,000–14,000 tonnes, representing a decrease of approximately 24.2% in the midpoint. Meanwhile, zinc production guidance was revised from 16,000–19,000 tonnes to 14,000–20,000 tonnes, representing a slight decrease of approximately 2.9% in the midpoint.
