Canadian mining company Eldorado Gold (NYSE: EGO / TSX: ELD) has released its third-quarter 2026 financial and operational results. Its Olympias polymetallic mine in Greece, which produces gold, silver, lead and zinc, is expected to face restrictions on processing throughput in the fourth quarter due to the ongoing 650,000-tonne-per-year expansion project. The expansion is expected to reach full production in the first half of 2027.
As a result, the company lowered its 2026 full-year lead production guidance from the previous range of 15,000–18,000 tonnes to 11,000–14,000 tonnes, representing a decrease of approximately 24.2% in the midpoint. Meanwhile, zinc production guidance was revised from 16,000–19,000 tonnes to 14,000–20,000 tonnes, representing a slight decrease of approximately 2.9% in the midpoint.
