A major Yunnan provincial science and technology project on rolling technology for aluminum sheet and strip used in new energy vehicles, led by Chalco Aluminum Foil (Yunnan) Co., Ltd., has recently passed acceptance review. Over three years, the project achieved breakthroughs in three core processes including silicon-iron element balance control and has moved into stable industrial-scale production.
