Guangdong Announces Plan to Boost Intelligent Connected Vehicle Development and L3 Autonomous Testing

On November 3, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the Implementation Plan for Expanding Consumption in Guangdong Province. The plan proposes increased support for the development of intelligent connected vehicles, encourages whole-vehicle enterprises to pursue L3 autonomous driving car model access and road pilot programs in accordance with regulations, and promotes orderly intelligent driving testing and commercial operations in the Greater Bay Area.
