L&F announced on October 14 that its subsidiary, JH Chemical (JHC), had secured annual end-of-life battery pretreatment capacity of 15,000 tonnes and technology capable of recovering approximately 95% of lithium from lithium-containing wastewater generated during battery material manufacturing.
JHC produces black mass by discharging, dismantling, crushing and grinding waste cathode materials and end-of-life batteries. Its processes can handle various battery chemistries, including NCM, LFP and LCO.
