[GACC: Q4 Export Fundamentals Unchanged]

Published: Oct 14, 2026 10:45 (GMT+8)
Wang Jun, Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs (GACC), said at a State Council Information Office press conference on October 14 that China's exports exceeded 8 trillion yuan for the first time in Q3 this year, up 22%. The strong export growth momentum was mainly attributable to China's complete industry chain system, the continuous development and expansion of advanced manufacturing, and significantly enhanced innovation capacity, competitiveness, and overall strength, enabling China to respond precisely, rapidly, and effectively to global production and consumption demand and provide high-quality, stable supply. Regarding the export outlook for Q4, Wang Jun said the current export fundamentals remain unchanged. China will accelerate the building of a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as its backbone, and with Chinese manufacturing that is both "at the cutting edge" and "down to earth," provide a richer array of choices for the production and daily lives of trading partners and consumers worldwide.
