China's Wire and Cable Sector Sees Monthly Rise, Holiday to Impact October Rates

According to SMM statistics, the operating rate of major wire and cable enterprises in China rose 1.73 percentage points MoM to 72.18% in September 2026, down 0.05 percentage points YoY. Affected by the National Day holiday, the operating rate in October is expected to decline 3.79 percentage points MoM to 68.39%, up 0.53 percentage points YoY.
