China's SMM Hydrometallurgy Imports Up 16% MoM in Aug 2026, Driven by Indonesia and PNG

According to the latest data from SMM Customs, China's imports of SMM hydrometallurgy intermediate products reached 114,870 mt in physical terms in August 2026, up 16% MoM but down 10% YoY. By country, the growth this month was mainly driven by a significant recovery in hydrometallurgy intermediate product imports from Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and other countries.
