Futures: The aluminum alloy 2610 contract opened at 23,265 yuan/mt today, initially consolidating on a strong note during the session. In the afternoon, bullish momentum waned, and prices turned lower, reaching a high of 23,385 yuan/mt and a low of 23,065 yuan/mt, before closing at 23,130 yuan/mt, down 0.58%. On the 4-hour chart, prices shot up and then pulled back with a bearish candle. The previous rebound pace slowed, encountering significant resistance above. The tug-of-war between longs and shorts intensified in the short term, and the market shifted into a consolidation pattern.
Spot: ADC12 market quotes were raised slightly overall today. SMM ADC12 prices rose 50 yuan/mt from the previous trading day to 23,950 yuan/mt. Driven by strong aluminum prices and improved market sentiment, enterprises raised quotes following cost and market changes, but the adjustment magnitude was relatively moderate. End-use demand remains relatively weak, with downstream procurement mainly on a hand-to-mouth basis and limited acceptance of price increases. Some enterprises chose to hold steady after earlier adjustments, and the overall market remained cautious about upward moves. In summary, ADC12 prices still receive cost support in the short term, but the demand side has not yet formed a clear upward driver. Further price increases and sustainability still depend on aluminum price trends and downstream demand recovery.
Imports: Overseas ADC12 quotes held steady at $3,050–3,190/mt, and the import loss remained slightly around 900 yuan/mt.
