[Mine Supply Tightness Unchanged, SHFE Zinc Center Slightly Higher] The most-traded SHFE zinc 2610 contract opened at 26,035 yuan/mt. After the open, SHFE zinc consolidated around the daily average line. At the beginning of the session, SHFE zinc hit a high of 26,125 yuan/mt, then during the session it touched a low of 25,960 yuan/mt. It finally closed higher at 26,070 yuan/mt, up 65 yuan/mt, or 0.25%. Trading volume decreased to 68,652 lots, and open interest increased by 3,279 lots to 152,000 lots....

SMM August 25 News:

       The most-traded SHFE zinc 2610 contract opened at 26,035 yuan/mt. After opening, SHFE zinc consolidated around the daily average line. Near the early session, SHFE zinc hit a high of 26,125 yuan/mt, then touched a low of 25,960 yuan/mt during the session. It finally closed up at 26,070 yuan/mt, up 65 yuan/mt, or 0.25%. Trading volume decreased to 68,652 lots, while open interest increased by 3,279 lots to 152,000 lots. SHFE zinc recorded a bullish candlestick, with the upper band of the Bollinger Bands forming resistance. Amid the tight domestic ore supply and sustained expectations of zinc ingot exports, the center of SHFE zinc moved slightly higher. It is expected to fluctuate at highs in the short term.
