[Solid-State: Xenergy Completes Over $100 Million Financing, Adds 3GWh Solid-State Battery Mass Production Line]

Published: Aug 24, 2026 19:02
Recently, Xenergy announced the completion of a Series B financing round exceeding $100 million, led by Puhua Capital. The funds will be used for the mass production and delivery of lithium-metal solid-state batteries, expansion of the R&D team, and the addition of a new 3GWh high-energy, high-safety solid-state battery mass production line, which is expected to be commissioned gradually from late 2026 to early 2027. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Shenzhen, Xenergy focuses on the R&D and mass production of lithium-metal solid-state batteries. Its Hangzhou base has already put its first-phase 2GWh production line into operation, covering markets such as drones, eBikes, and electric motorcycles. The second-phase 8GWh facility is planned for eVTOL, embodied robots, and new energy vehicles. A 3GWh mass production base in Yongkang has also commenced construction. With combined capacity from commissioned, under-construction, and planned facilities exceeding 20GWh, the company's products achieve energy densities up to 480Wh/kg. Furthermore, from the rollout of its first batch of products to cumulative shipments exceeding 10 million cells, the Hangzhou base accomplished this in approximately seven months, marking the first publicly disclosed case of continuous mass production at the ten-million-unit level globally for the lithium-metal anode route.
