Selkirk’s Minto Restart Plan Gains Support from New High-Grade Copper Drilling

Published: Aug 21, 2026 09:35
Selkirk Copper has reported new high-grade results supporting its planned restart of the former Minto copper-gold-silver mine in Yukon. Drilling at Minto North returned 6.01% Cu over 1.93 metres, while a step-out hole intersected 2.25% CuEq over 13.3 metres and identified potential for further mineralization beyond a reinterpreted fault. Selkirk has now completed 45,299 metres, or about 90%, of its 50,000-metre Phase 2 program, while advancing mine planning and a PEA targeted for Q3 2026 that will assess the proposed Minto restart.
