[Solar: RWE secures Google PPA for 155MW Oklahoma solar project]

RWE and Google have signed a 15-year PPA for the full output of RWE’s 155MW AC Crooked Creek Solar project in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. The project is RWE’s first solar development in the state. Construction is planned to begin later this year, with commercial operation expected in 2028. The project will supply electricity to support Google’s operations in the Southwest Power Pool market and is expected to create up to 250 jobs during peak construction.

[SMM PV News] Chongqing's installed wind and solar power generation capacity exceeded 10 million kW

According to State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, Chongqing's total installed wind and PV power capacity exceeded 10 million kW, reaching 10.39 million kW, up more than 17% from the end of 2025 and accounting for more than 23%, as the energy mix accelerates its shift toward clean and low-carbon. As of the end of July, Chongqing's distributed PV installed capacity reached 5.25 million kW, accounting for more than half of the total installed wind and PV capacity.
