[ US Announces Preliminary Dumping Margin on Welded Pipe Imports from Greece ]

Published: Aug 17, 2026 11:29
The US Department of Commerce issued preliminary results from its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on large-diameter welded pipe from Greece. Regulators determined that Corinth Pipeworks' shipments to the US between May 2024 and April 2025 were not sold below normal value, yielding a preliminary 0% dumping margin. If finalized, the targeted pipe entries will be liquidated without any punitive antidumping duties.

[ EU ETS Revisions May Delay Full Carbon Costs for Turkish Steel Exporters ]
The European Commission is proposing a timeline extension for the phase-in of its Emissions Trading System (ETS) free allowance reductions, pushing the full carbon cost integration out to 2038. This regulatory revision would significantly moderate the near-term compliance costs imposed by the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Turkish steel and aluminum exporters would benefit from a more gradual phase-in, protecting their price competitiveness within the European market over the next decade.
