【Keda Industrial Group Plans RMB 4.5 Billion Investment in 500,000 mt/year Graphite Anode Material Project】Keda Industrial Group said its subsidiary Fujian Keda New Energy plans to sign an investment cooperation agreement with Tumed Right Banner government and invest approximately RMB 4.5 billion, including working capital, to build an integrated graphite anode material project with annual capacity of 500,000 mt in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. The project will cover approximately 1,000 mu and is expected to start construction in October 2026, with a construction period of 10-12 months. The company currently has approximately 150,000 mt/year of integrated artificial graphite capacity, which is expected to increase to 180,000 mt/year after capacity upgrades in 2026. The project is currently in the preliminary preparation stage and remains subject to relevant filings and approvals.

[Zhuhai Gaolan Port Achieves First Breakthrough in Containerized Export of NEVs] The Gaolan Port International Container Terminal in the Zhuhai Economic and Technological Development Zone has achieved its first breakthrough in the containerized export of complete NEVs, with 1,408 domestically produced NEVs completing container loading and boarding operations. The cargo ship carrying them slowly set sail for the Port of Vitoria in Brazil, a country participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. It is understood that a total of 2,807 domestically produced NEVs will depart for South America under this project, with a total cargo value of approximately 290 million yuan. The terminal operator expects the second batch of vehicles to be organized and shipped in an orderly manner by month-end.

[Khorgos Port's Auto Exports Up 33.3% in January-August] Since the beginning of this year, leveraging its locational and corridor advantages, Khorgos Port—the country's largest land port for commercial vehicle exports—has seen continued growth in automobile export trade, becoming a core growth driver for Xinjiang's foreign trade quality and efficiency improvement. According to statistics from Khorgos Customs, in the first eight months of this year, Khorgos Port exported 344,000 vehicles, up 33.3% YoY. In addition to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, the share of passenger NEVs and commercial vehicles in exports has risen significantly.
