[SMM Flash] According to SHFE data, on August 11, total registered warrants for cast aluminum alloy stood at 17,285 mt, down 30 mt from the previous trading day. Among them, the registered warrants by region were: Shanghai (1,506 mt, unchanged), Guangdong (1,312 mt, unchanged), Jiangsu (3,806 mt, unchanged), Zhejiang (7,082 mt, unchanged), Chongqing (2,794 mt, down 30 mt), and Sichuan (785 mt, unchanged).

SHFE Aluminum 2608 Contract Trades High, Spot Premiums and Market Sentiment Improve

In the morning session, the SHFE aluminum 2608 contract continued to trade at high levels, with prices above 24,000 yuan/mt exerting some dampening effect on downstream procurement, while trading among traders was relatively active.
