Iron ore concentrate prices in the Tangshan area edged down, with the current EXW price for 66-grade iron ore concentrates on a dry basis and tax-included at 950-955 yuan/mt. At mines and beneficiation plants, iron ore concentrate resources remain tight currently, but overall supply is relatively looser than in the previous period.

Iron ore concentrate prices in the Tangshan area edged down, with the current dry basis, tax-inclusive EXW price for 66% grade iron ore concentrates at 950-955 yuan/mt. At mines and beneficiation plants, iron ore concentrate resources remain tight, but overall supply has become relatively looser than previously; on the demand side, steel mills are mostly purchasing as needed, and some have again formulated maintenance plans, weakening support for iron ore concentrate demand. Steel mills overall have a strong desire to bargain down prices. [Steel Billet] Today, FOB export prices for square billets edged up by USD 1/t, with quotations at Jiangyin Port at USD 460–465/t.
