Tesla Plans to Add More Delivery Sites in Japan

According to media reports on August 10, Tesla will increase its delivery sites in Japan by 60% this year to cope with rapidly‑growing market demand, which has brought operational pressure to the company. At present, Tesla operates seven delivery sites across Japan, located in Tokyo, Osaka and other cities. The company will add one new delivery site each in Yokohama and Kobe this month. By the end of this year, it plans to open another site each in the Greater Tokyo Area and Nagoya, bringing the total number of delivery sites to 11.
