US Nonfarm Payrolls Unexpectedly Fall, Unemployment Hits 8-Year Low, Boosting Precious Metals

[SMM Precious Metal Express] US July seasonally adjusted nonfarm payrolls unexpectedly fell by 23,000, the first decline since February, while the unemployment rate edged down to 4.1%, the lowest since June 2025. Weaker jobs data alongside a falling jobless rate strengthened market expectations for Fed rate cuts, providing support for precious metals.
