Mitsubishi Materials invested 50 million euros to expand production of H.C. Starck tungsten recycling.

[Tungsten Express] Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (hereinafter "MMC") has decided to invest approximately 50 million euros to expand the tungsten recycling capacity of its consolidated subsidiary H.C. Starck Tungsten GmbH (headquartered in Goslar, Germany; hereinafter "H.C. Starck"). With this investment, H.C. Starck will increase its tungsten scrap processing capacity at its flagship Goslar plant from approximately 5,000 mt per year to 7,000 mt. The construction of the new facility is planned to start in 2026 and is expected to be completed within 2028. H.C. Starck produces and sells high-quality powder products made from tungsten, tungsten carbide, and related alloys in Europe, North America, and China, and also maintains sales operations in Japan.

Participants also carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on matters related to the listing of tungsten futures.
