SMM, July 29: Dealers in Jiangxi reported sluggish demand in the automotive battery market, with slow inventory digestion. Currently, inventory is maintained at around 1.5 months, and the main model, 6-QW-60Ah, has a market selling price of 240-260 yuan per unit. Manufacturers in Hebei reported that the off-season trend in the automotive battery market persists, and frequent high-temperature weather has led OEMs to implement high-temperature holidays, reducing orders. The factory plans to take a holiday in early August, and current production primarily uses lead long-term contracts. Manufacturers in Zhejiang reported weak replacement demand in the automotive battery market, with dealers cautious in procurement. To avoid inventory buildup, the factory operating rate is maintained at 70-80%.
