Secondary refined lead upstream suppliers' offers remained firm, but downstream procurement shifted to primary lead, spot secondary lead transactions were weak, and smelters lacked motivation to raise scrap battery purchase prices. Recycling end merchants remained cautious in material collection, unwilling to stockpile at high prices; supply holders waited for the market to recover, and willingness to sell was not strong. Both supply and demand sides were in wait-and-see mode. In the short term, scrap batteries lacked upward momentum, and the market consolidated.
