[SMM PV Express] Meridian Energy Approved to Build 110 MW Solar Project in Waikato, New Zealand

New Zealand power enterprise Meridian Energy has been granted consent to build a 110 MW solar farm near Morrinsville in the Waikato region. Once completed, the project is expected to generate up to 200 GWh of electricity annually, enough to power more than 25,000 average New Zealand homes.
